About the Challenge

Welcome to Dev Clash, a competitive online hackathon where builders, hackers, engineers, designers, and innovators come together to create impactful projects and push the limits of innovation.

This challenge is open to students, professionals, founders, researchers, and independent developers from around the world.

Your mission is simple: build something real.

Projects may focus on AI, developer tools, SaaS products, cybersecurity, automation, open-source software, research tools, productivity applications, or any innovative technology solution that solves a meaningful problem.

Participants may compete individually or in teams.

What We're Looking For

Projects will be evaluated based on:

  • Innovation and originality

  • Technical complexity

  • Real-world usefulness

  • User experience and design

  • Quality of presentation

Submission Requirements

Every submission must include:

  • Project name

  • Project description

  • GitHub repository

  • Demo video

  • Screenshots

  • Team member information

Projects must be functional and demonstrable.

Rules
  • Build ethically and legally.

  • Teams must submit original work.

  • Existing frameworks and libraries may be used.

  • Judges reserve the right to disqualify plagiarized or fraudulent submissions.

  • All participants must follow the Dev Clash Code of Conduct.

Project Requirements
  • Projects must be functional and demonstrable.

  • Teams may use existing frameworks, libraries, APIs, and tools.

  • Projects must clearly describe the problem being solved and the proposed solution.

  • Submissions must include sufficient documentation for judges to understand the project.

Important Notes
  • Incomplete submissions may not be considered for judging.

Judging Criteria

  • Innovation & Creativity
    How original and creative is the idea? Judges will evaluate whether the project introduces a novel solution, unique approach, or innovative use of technology to solve a problem.
  • Technical Execution
    How well was the project built? Judges will assess code quality, technical complexity, system architecture, functionality, and the effective use of technologies, frameworks, and tools.
  • Impact & Usability
    How useful and practical is the project? Judges will evaluate the real-world value of the solution, user experience, accessibility, and its potential to solve meaningful problems for users.
